Egypt and Russia discussed expanding industrial cooperation and accelerating the Russian industrial zone project.
The proposed project would include two container terminals located at ports on both the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, supported by adjacent industrial and logistics zones.
He emphasized that Russia currently has abundant harvests and will face no difficulties in fulfilling these supplies.
Egypt and Russia also signed the Comprehensive Cooperation Program, which includes collaboration in several fields such as the peaceful nuclear sector and medical applications, including the production of radioactive isotopes used in cancer treatment.
During the ceremony, President Putin highlighted the significance of the project, noting that the first reactor unit alone will add 35,000 kilowatts of electricity to Egypt’s power grid.
